Last year my girlfriend and I took a trip to Austin Texas about this time last year. I had the pleasure of her taking me to a nice little restaurant on the waterfront of Lake Austin in Austin, Texas called the Hula Hut. It was one of the best trips of my life and I just wanted to say thanks to her and it really meant the world to me. Okay with that said, the Restaurant offers a great mixture of Mexican and Polynesian foods. Don’t worry they also have wonderful burgers and other great variety of grilled food for you to enjoy.
I enjoyed it the most because the back side of the restaurant has a pier over the lake making it great place to dine. Enjoy watching boaters go by while enjoying my burger and beer was the life. We also enjoyed throwing food over the side for the ducks and wildlife to enjoy, which isn’t permitted, but hey why waste.
Stop by and grab a bite and i’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
It can be a chore getting everyone rounded up for the lake and the thing that really sticks is getting to the lake and your fun toys, like tubes and other floatables are flat, I’m talking no air. Nothing like listening to your daughters cry, because her and her friends can’t tube, because the tube is basically a pancake now. You probably need a realiable rechargeable air pump. I recommend the Coleman Rechargeable Quick Pump.
Here are some of the great things about the pump
If your in the Missouri part of the US this summer you should stop by and check out the music going on at Lake St. Louis in St. Louis Missouri. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets for the perfect outside summer music in the midwest. Here are the times and great local bands for you to enjoy.

Well it’s official that on June 21 at 1:45 A.M. EDT the 2009 Summer Solstice is here, meaning summer has begun. I am really excited to get out and enjoy some great lake time. Firing up my Malibu Response Lxi for the first time of the summer and hearing her hum in the water will bring a joyful feeling to me.
Sure there are worries that it won’t start, but I opted for the EFI, eliminating a lot of doubt. Most of the guys I ski with have to deal with carburated and it’s usually not a great thing to watch them start it off the summer in rage .
I just wanted to wish everyone a great summer and happy safe boating………….
